2010 Klangfest München (Munich’s Festival of Sound) – Creative music, theatre and dance in Munich
The 2010 Klangfest München (Munich’s Festival of Sound) puts the spotlight on the Bavarian capital’s music scene at the Gasteig arts centre on 22 May: with everything from rock, pop and reggae to world music, jazz, musical cabaret and traditional Bavarian music, this one-day event with free admission celebrates the creativity and diversity of the music on offer in Munich. On four separate stages, audiences will get to hear what’s being produced by Munich-based musicians, promoters, clubs and record companies.
Theatre and dance lovers will be in their element from 9 to 13 June 2010 at the inaugural Rodeo München – the new festival of Munich’s independent theatre and dance scene: selected dance and theatre groups from Munich’s independent scene will gather together to perform at the festival, which will be held every two years.
