Ruhr Piano Festival May to July 2011: Top pianists from all over the world will be gathering for the Ruhr Piano Festival.

From 6 May to 22 July, the Ruhr region in North Rhine-Westphalia will be hosting 58 concerts at 25 venues in 16 towns and cities.

To celebrate the 200th anniversary of Franz Liszt’s birth, his work will feature prominently at the festival. In contrast, the festival’s ‘JazzLine’ programme includes
singer and Grammy award winner Patti Austin and Chick Corea.
