FRA/rap> (Jan 13, 2012) Effective immediately, Fraport AG – the owner and manager of Frankfurt Airport (FRA) – is enhancing Internet access at FRA by offering free 30-minute-long Wireless Local Area Network (W-LAN) Internet access to passengers and visitors at Frankfurt Airport (FRA). Frankfurt Airport is the first airport in Germany to offer free W-LAN access.
This new Fraport service is being implemented via Deutsche Telekom’s HotSpot portal. With just a few clicks users can go online to access their e-mails and other information via the Internet. With the introduction of free 30-minute W-LAN service, Fraport is achieving a significant improvement in the quality of stay at Germany’s most important air transportation gateway and is meeting the needs of an increasingly mobile and communications-linked world.
